Community Enrichment Services was founded in 2017 after seeing how often disability services could feel clinical, distant, or unnecessarily bureaucratic.
CES was created to offer something different: professional ILS support that still feels personal. We believe every individual deserves to be treated with dignity, listened to seriously, and supported in building a life with greater independence and choice.

Shawnese Devereaux
Program DirectorShawnese brings years of hands-on experience across Independent Living Skills instruction, case management, and program administration. That combination gives her a practical understanding of what individuals need in the field and what families and Regional Center teams need from a dependable provider.
Her approach is also shaped by personal experience as a mother navigating developmental disabilities within her own family. She leads CES with a focus on dignity, clear communication, strong professional relationships, and helping each individual build the skills needed for greater independence.
